A venue coordinator works for the venue and focuses primarily on the property itself.
At The Barn at Cedar Grove, our venue team is here to make sure the property is prepared and ready for your celebration. Depending on your package, that can include:
- Preparing the barn and ceremony areas
- Making sure the grounds and restrooms are ready
- Setting up tables and chairs
- Helping with venue-related questions
- Supporting vendors with access to the property
- Handling venue setup and cleanup responsibilities included in your package
A venue coordinator is an important part of the day, but the role is different from someone who is managing your entire wedding timeline.
They are taking care of the venue.
A wedding coordinator is taking care of the flow of your wedding day.
What Is a Wedding Coordinator?
A wedding coordinator is the person watching the clock so you don’t have to.
They know when the photographer is arriving, when the wedding party needs to get into place, when the ceremony should begin, when dinner is being served, and what needs to happen next.

Our team works with trusted wedding professionals, coordinates those services, and manages the details that bring your wedding together.

- Design and décor decisions
- Layout and wedding-day logistics
- Communication with the vendors included in your package
- Rehearsal planning
- Timeline creation
- Full wedding-day coordination
You still make the decisions that make the wedding feel like yours.
We simply help carry the planning load.
