When planning your wedding at The Barn at Cedar Grove, every detail counts—especially the drinks! While we don’t hold a liquor license or employ bartenders directly, we work closely with a trusted network of certified, insured bartenders who provide excellent service. Couples are welcome to bring in their own licensed bartender, or, for added convenience, they can choose bar service as part of an all-inclusive or custom wedding package. In those cases, we coordinate with approved subcontractors on your behalf. No upcharges for our venue, just added convenience for you.
Whether you're dreaming of handcrafted signature cocktails, craft beer and wine, or opting for a dry wedding with elegant mocktails, our flexible bar options are designed to enhance your day without added stress. From bourbon-forward classics to creative twists and non-alcoholic alternatives, here’s a look at the most popular drink offerings couples enjoy at our Central Kentucky venue.
A guest favorite unique to our venue, the Cedar Grove Smash blends Kentucky bourbon with muddled seasonal fruit and fresh mint. It’s a refreshing, flavorful drink and a fun way to celebrate the flavors of the region.
This bourbon-based classic never goes out of style. Crafted with care using premium ingredients, our Old Fashioned is smooth, rich, and a sophisticated choice for cocktail hour or a toast. It’s a true nod to Kentucky’s rich whiskey heritage. Buffalo Trace, Woodford Reserve, Maker's Mark are all great choices made right here in Kentucky.
A refreshing mix of bourbon, lime, and ginger beer, can be served in a copper mug. It’s always a hit—and easily customizable depending on your flavor preferences.
Available in red or white, our sangria is packed with fresh citrus and berries for a visually stunning and delicious drink. It's light, refreshing, and perfect for afternoon receptions or cocktail hour.
From classic lime to strawberry, mango, or pineapple, margaritas are always a favorite. You can even create his/hers varieties or a self-serve margarita station for your reception.
Many of our couples highlight local Kentucky breweries—like West Sixth Brewing or Country Boy Brewing—to showcase regional pride. Bartenders can help recommend and serve a curated list of local or national favorites.
Rather than a fixed list, you can bring in your own selections or let bartenders help choose wines that pair beautifully with your dinner menu.
Dry wedding? No problem. From infused waters to sparkling mocktails, non-alcoholic drinks can look and feel just as celebratory. We’ve seen mocktail bars, lemonade stations, and vintage soda setups that guests love.
Many of our couples work with bartenders to design a one-of-a-kind cocktail that reflects their story or wedding theme. Whether you want something fun and fruity or smooth and simple, your bartender will help bring the idea to life.
Want something truly unique? The bartenders we work with are more than happy to collaborate with you to create a custom cocktail for your wedding. Whether you want a drink that reflects your personalities, wedding theme, or favorite flavors, we can craft something special just for you. From color-coordinated cocktails to drinks with a story, the possibilities are endless.
Custom cocktails can be a fun way to add a personal touch to your celebration, and they make for great conversation starters among guests. Plus, it gives you the opportunity to leave a lasting impression with something totally unique.
