Imagine a wedding day filled with magic, intimacy, and the charm of rustic elegance. Picture saying "I do" surrounded by the natural beauty of our Kentucky countryside, with the soft rustle of leaves and the gentle hum of nature as your witnesses. At The Barn at Cedar Grove, we specialize in creating these enchanting moments through our elopements and small weddings, capturing the essence of romance and whimsy.
A smaller wedding does not have to feel like a lesser wedding.
For some couples, the perfect day is simply a meaningful ceremony, a beautiful setting, the people they love most, and a team who takes care of the details so they can be fully present.
That is exactly what our Elopement and Minimony packages at The Barn at Cedar Grove are designed to offer.
Set on a secluded farm in South Central Kentucky, our venue gives couples the choice of a woodland ceremony beneath the trees, an indoor ceremony inside our restored 1911 tobacco barn, and plenty of quiet places around the property for photographs and time together.
And because these celebrations are intentionally small, they can feel relaxed, personal, and wonderfully unhurried.
The Barn at Cedar Grove offers a private Kentucky setting for intimate weddings and elopements.
At The Barn at Cedar Grove, both options are designed for couples who want a smaller, more intimate wedding day without having to piece everything together themselves.
Our Elopement package is designed for celebrations with up to 10 guests.
It is a wonderful fit for couples who want to keep the focus on the ceremony and the people closest to them, while still enjoying the meaningful parts of a traditional wedding day.
Our Minimony package is intentionally scaled for celebrations with up to 30 guests.
It gives you room to include close family and friends while keeping the atmosphere intimate and easy to enjoy.
Both are three-hour celebrations, with the option to add additional time if you would like a longer gathering.

One of the biggest advantages of choosing an Elopement or Minimony here is that you do not have to organize every piece on your own.
Our packages bring together many of the details couples would normally have to arrange separately.
Elopement includes:
Minimony includes:
Want a longer celebration or a full meal? You can add one to three additional hours, and meal service is available as an add-on.
The goal is simple: give you a wedding that still feels complete, without asking you or your family to spend the day managing vendors, setting tables, cleaning up, or keeping everything on schedule.

Choosing an intimate wedding does not mean giving up the parts of the day that matter to you.
You can still walk down the aisle.
You can still have flowers, cake, photographs, a beautiful meal, and time with the people you love.
You can still exchange vows beneath the trees, celebrate inside the barn, take sunset photos around the farm, and end the day knowing you truly got to enjoy it.
The difference is that the guest list is smaller and the day is intentionally scaled around what matters most to you.
For many couples, that makes the experience feel even more personal.

Our farm is tucked away between Columbia and Greensburg, Kentucky, surrounded by countryside, trees, and Russell Creek.
It feels private from the moment you arrive.
Couples can choose a woodland ceremony surrounded by mature trees, celebrate inside our restored tobacco barn, and use the farm's many natural settings for photographs throughout the day.
But the setting is only part of what makes these weddings special.
Our team is here to help bring the day together.
That means your family can be family.
Your guests can enjoy the celebration.
And you do not have to spend your wedding day wondering who is setting something up, where a vendor should go, or who is cleaning everything afterward.
We take care of those things for you.

The Barn at Cedar Grove is open for weddings from April through October.
Elopements and Minimonies are primarily available on weekdays and Sundays.
Saturday dates may also become available within 60 days of the wedding date.
That flexibility can be especially helpful for couples who do not need a traditional Saturday wedding and would rather plan something smaller and simpler.
Each season brings a different feel to the farm, from spring greenery to summer evenings and the changing colors of fall.
“We cannot praise The Barn at Cedar Grove and their staff enough. We planned a smaller elopement, and Amy worked with us every step of the way. The staff handled everything from the minister, cake, and decorations—you name it, they thought of it. Our intimate ceremony was absolutely perfect.”
“Our wedding was perfect! The decorations were beautiful, your staff was so welcoming, and the cabins were great! It was so nice to just show up and not worry about anything. Thank you for making our wedding day perfect.”
“The barn is absolutely beautiful, and the staff is even better! They thought of everything for my daughter’s wedding and made it so special! If you’re considering this place, I highly encourage you to do it. You will not be disappointed!”
A smaller wedding may be a good fit if you want:
You do not have to choose between having a small wedding and having a special one.
You can have both.
