Exploring the barn she found an inscription carved into the timbers which dated the barn back to 1911. Her wedding dreams were coming full circle and exactly 100 years later the old structure got a new lease on life and hosted it's very first wedding!

The year is 2011.  An excited and soon to be bride explores an abandoned tobacco barn on her grandparent’s farm.  Although the passing of time and changing culture had left the historic structure in much need of repair, it still stood strong in the overgrown meadow.  

With over 200 acres of woodland and grassy meadows, our property provides multiple ceremony sites for your dream wedding, as well as, unique photo opportunities in every direction.  The Barn itself is just under 3,500 square feet with a generous seating capacity of 230. Our beautiful concrete floors provide a solid foundation for your ceremony and/or reception needs. You will find our large rear doors open onto a beautiful patio space just right for your cocktail/social hour or even additional reception space. To everyone's delight, we chose to add on to the original structure and include modern, handicap accessible restrooms.  No porta pots here!  We also included a prep kitchen to make life easier for your caterer.  In addition to our main building, we offer a quaint bride's cottage and a rustic groom's cabin for separate getting ready spaces.  Plus, you will also be excited to find our storage buildings brimming with decor and props!  Our venue continues to evolve with each passing year...all carefully thought out with your best interest in mind!
